Happy Stitching! Prairie Stitcher
I'm already following!
ReplyDeleteI love the needle case - did you know that on your pattern page it's listed as a 'neddle case'!!
Hi Gill: Yes, it's the famous ancient nomenclature for the first needle which was made from the spine of the famous Scottish Nettle, or neddle, in older English.....also, it's an intended illustration of Murphy's Law which includes: "No typos will be found until the final draft is published." Cheers, Kathie PS - The neddle case and the needle case are the same item and reely, um, really fun to make. O gosh.
DeleteI like the sunbonnets. I am already a follower by GFC
ReplyDeleteThank you, Margaret. Sunbonnets are fun. Have a happy blog hop!
DeleteI'm a follower and really like your needle case. Thank you sew much for this chance to win!
ReplyDeleteHello Pat: I'm glad you stopped by. The needle case is fun to make and have. Even for quilters who prefer machine piecing, some hand work is involved somewhere in the process....thus....we all need a needle case, don't we? I love applique and embroidery, so I have several.
DeleteI like the sue sunbonnets.
ReplyDeleteI am a follower!!
Huesei: I'm pretty sure I'm following you too. Thank you so much for stopping by. I know Sunbonnet Sue is an American phenomenon so I'm glad you like her too. Girls and Women in the early days before sun screen wore bonnets to keep the sun from browning their skin and causing freckles to come out. The bigger the bonnet, the better the protection!
DeleteI'm a new follower and like your quilt pattern Flower Basket Sue.
ReplyDeleteHello Patty: Thank you for stopping by. Flower Basket Sue is a fun quilt to make. I'm glad you like it.

Thank you for so many kind words. Cutting up lovely fabric into little pieces and sewing them back together again....what a wonderful pastime, don't you think? Recreativity!
DeleteI like the flower basket Sue! Great site and great patterns!
ReplyDeleteFBS is a favorite of mine, too. I'm glad you like her. Thanks for stopping by.

DeleteI am a follower and the heart utui looks so cute! I need a place for my needles that like to wander into human toes! thanks for the opportunity to win!
ReplyDeleteDon't you just hate it when that happens? Yes, a needle case can prevent a lot of pain and frustration. Thanks for coming by and following. Love your blog title.
DeleteI am a follower and I like the etui very much. I had just added "needle book" to my list of projects. Maybe I will be making the one you designed!
ReplyDeleteI hope you do. It's fun and pretty and fits in a purse nicely.

ReplyDeleteI am a followr and I like the PCG2111 German Folk Dancers. too darn cute.
ReplyDeleteThanks for being part of the fun blog hop. Lovely giveaway. Thanks for the chance to win.
Aren't those German folk dancers fun? We have real ones in our town as we have a German fest every year (September - Deutschesfest in Odessa, WA). They're all over the place, then. Thanks for coming over.
DeleteI also signed up to follow by email. Looking forward to the pattern for signing up. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteThank you. I sent your pattern to you. I hope you have fun with it.
DeleteI like the sun bonnets
ReplyDeleteRichard and Tanya Quilts
They are wonderful, aren't they? What little girl doesn't need a Sunbonnet Sue quilt?
DeleteI'm usually very good at following instructions, but I went to your etsy shop and I have to say that, hands down, your Hawaiian Sunbonnet Sue pattern is my favorite....the changes in hat, dress, and feet really capture a hawaiian feel...would be a great hand applique (or machine, but I prefer hand) project! Oh, and I signed up to follow via google reader.
ReplyDeleteThat's acceptable because that quilt, which I visited yesterday at our local quilt shop where it's on display, is a personal favorite of mine. It was so much fun to make and the Blank Splash fabrics were just the thing. Thanks for your lovely words. Glad to find you here.
DeleteThanks, Richard, for visiting and following. So, you're next quilt will be Sunbonnet Sue or Sunhat Sam? Choices, choices, choices. I used to always include Sam in my patterns but learned people buy Sue more often, so Sam is mostly retired. I hope to find him a more prominent place in future.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful patterns... surprise me! And enjoy the blog hop!
ReplyDeleteHi Denise - Thanks for coming by again. I hope you win!
DeleteLove your flower basket sue pattern! I am a new follower! Thanks for the chance!

ReplyDeleteIt's a fun little project. Thank you for coming by and for following. We're having a great time thanks to everyone who is hopping along.
DeleteI signed up for your newsletter and follow you through gfc. I like the harvest kitty pattern. I have a friend with a black cat and they always appeal to me.
ReplyDeleteKitties and quilts; a marriage made in heaven, according to the kitties. We make kitty-quilts at our house: two fat quarters with some batting in between and a little machine quilting. These are just right for a chair seat where a kitty might want to nap. Keeps the fur off the furniture (Why is the word "fur" in the word "furniture"? Kitty's answer, "If not for naps, why it called 'fur' niture?")
DeleteI'm a new follower & have signed up for newsletter. I would love the Harvest Mice wall quilt pattern. If I'm lucky enough to win, I would patiently wait until it's available! The Harvest Kitty is also sweet...they would make nice set! Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteThank you! They're our new fall offerings! You'll hear about it when they come out. Have a great blog hop this week. I'm halfway through at this point, hoping to hop them all.
DeleteI like the prairie sweethearts quilt the best. I am followwing you now via email.
ReplyDeleteThere's a story in the Prairie Sweethearts pattern about the courtship of Ebenezer and Abigail Webster, parents of Daniel Webster, which is fun to read. Gives an insight into how courting was done during the Revolutionary War. Thanks for stopping by and subscribing.
DeleteJust stopped by for that cup of tea you offered me. :) I am now following you by GFC. I like the Christmas pattern the best. :)
ReplyDeleteWell, if there was snow out there last night, it's gone, now. Thirty-nine degrees and black as the inside of a little boy's pocket. The tea kettle's whistling sew we can sip tea and watch the sun come up. Is the sun up at your house yet this year? Kind of gray, maybe? Thanks for hopping by.
DeleteI'm a new follower....
ReplyDeleteI have been wanting to make a Sunbonnet Sue quilt so I would have to choose Flower Basket Sue.
